Chargeable Services
Makuri’s core business is providing high-performance wear liners and major machine parts for the front end of hard rock mining process plants. We specialise in optimising crushers and transfer/feed chutes. We also have a small group of highly qualified engineering and service personnel to assist when available with the following
- Onsite Planned Shutdowns. Provide independent advice to supervising personnel regarding the correct practices and procedures in repairing major front-end equipment. This can be done before the shutdown to review work procedures and advise on their content during the shutdown.
- Onsite Emergency Repairs. When crushers, or affiliated non-redundant plant, break down, like conveyor belts, and a short window opens to do emergency work, we may also be able to assist at short notice.
- Offsite rebuilds. Rebuilding crushers and their major parts off-site can be problematic if they are not independently assessed for the correct scope of work and the contractor’s ability to complete it. Once the proper contractor is selected, the Scope of Work and Milestone completions can be advised and reported on.
- Investigation and correction of failures. Pressure to return failed crushers back to service as soon as possible can prevent adequate investigations and resolution of one-time or repeat failure modes. To determine what caused the failure and how to prevent it from happening again is best done by independent specialists.

Non-Chargeable Services
Makuri Technology also provides several non-chargeable on and off sites services, including;
- Reverse Engineering and redesigning of OEM and aftermarket liners and parts to optimise their performance
- Site visits before, during and after the use of liners and parts as a quality audit and for iterative design continuous improvement
- Offsites rebuilds under our control
All the above are done only with the invoiced supply of Makuri products or services.
